Flowstate Engineering was founded by two aerospace engineers who went on to earn PhDs specializing in complementary corners of fluid mechanics. We've spent years running simulations, writing and optimizing scientific software, and communicating technical work to international audiences, reviewers, and colleagues.

We work directly, without layers of account managers. You talk to the people actually doing the work, and we move quickly.

Jordi Casacuberta, PhD

Co-founder of Flowstate Engineering. Specializes in the mathematical and computational modeling of complex systems, laminar flow control and optimization methods for aerothermodynamic design. Co-inventor of a patented aerodynamical wing surface.

Luis Laguarda, PhD

Co-founder of Flowstate Engineering. Specializes in scientific programming (HPC, GPU-offloading, I/O optimization) and high-speed aerodynamics, with a focus on turbulence physics, modeling and control via deep reinforcement learning.
